Sadaq Allah 4

Tuesday, 20th Rabīʿ al-Awwal 1435H

He (Al-Dai al-Ajal al-Fatimi Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA) was an instrument of radiant writing, wielded by the hand of his Maula (Imam al-Zaman). He was the meaning behind the Ṭūr [Mountain] and the truth of the Inscribed Scripture (the Quran; references to 52nd sūra, Sūra al-Ṭūr). He inscribed sentences of truth, guidance and light upon the pages of hearts. He is a refuge for those in need of sanctuary, a haven for the faithful, a firm handhold for those in need of something to hold on to and a source of beauty and splendor for the entire universe. He is a testament to his father (Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA), the sword of the Imam, and holds a momentous station. He is a bursting cloud of eternal blessings, and in the firmament of the Imami Dawat, he is a resplendent sun. He is the delight of the eye of the Imam of the Pious: our beloved Maula, Syedna Abu al-Qaidjohar Mohammed Burhanuddin. May Allah elevate him in the highest heavens and may He continue to bestow us with his grace and intercession in every passing moment.

He skillfully mastered all undertakings as did his father, al-Dai al-Muqqaddas Syedna Taher Saifuddin, and like him, he carried them out diligently. His benevolence was like his father’s, as was his discourse and oration. He guided [the community] just as his father had and protected [them] in the same manner. He assumed his father’s position and brought to fruition his desires and aspirations. He resembled his father both in his speech and his conduct as if he is him in all aspects. His (Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA) knowledge is like his (Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA); his sagacity is like his; his character is like his; his discourse is like his; his preeminence is like his; his wisdom is like his; his generosity is like his; his asceticism is like his; his thoughts are like his; his melody is like his; his memory is like his; his counsel is like his; his tolerance is like his; his constraint is like his; his intent is like his, and his perception is like his! Aah! Aah! Aah! With his loss, we have lost not one but two dais, both of whom strove tirelessly to erect the beacon of guidance: Syedna Taher Saifuddin and Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin. May Allah extend the life of his great lament and incessant mourning for Imam Husain, the Lord of the two realms, until the Day of Qiyamat. He (Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA) chose the divine Pavilion of Light as his final resting place, from whence he reveals manifest glories and magnificence.
